Letting Go | Geeta B Bhansali

Letting Go

What is letting go?

It is dropping the emotional charge to our thoughts/past.

Exercise:

· Write down the baggage that you are carrying (sometimes for years), thoughts, emotions (anger, guilt, revenge, hatred, shame, stress)without any judgement.

· Ask yourself:

o Why am I holding this baggage?

o What is holding me back?

o Where in my body do I feel the baggage?

· Clench your fist/body and open

· Open your arms wide and let go.

· Breathe with ha sound

Our bodies have an inbuilt mechanism to let go.

Something happens in the external world and chemicals are flushed through your body which puts it on full alert. For those chemicals to totally flush out of the body it takes less than 90 seconds. Jill Bolte Taylor (Brain Scientist)
